Compaq Memorabilia & Vintage Collectibles
Compaq pioneered the IBM-compatible portable PC and became a 1990s industry leader, but price wars and a costly DEC acquisition led to its $24.2 billion merger into Hewlett-Packard in 2002.

Compaq grew from a 1982 Houston startup into the world’s largest PC maker before Hewlett-Packard acquired it in 2002. There is no official Compaq store, so this page follows the resale market for Compaq advertising, paper and promotional pieces.

Compaq merchandise FAQ
Where can I buy Compaq memorabilia?
The Vintage & Secondhand tab tracks relevant marketplace listings when they are available. Compaq stopped operating as a separate company by 2003, so original pieces come from resale sellers.
Does a Compaq logo mean an item predates HP?
Not necessarily. HP acquired Compaq on May 3, 2002 and planned continued use of the Compaq brand on part of its product line, so check dates and markings in the listing.
