This is a RETIRED, 1953 MINT Royal Doulton "The JOVIAL MONK" HN 2144 Brown MONK Figurine. He is wearing a brown monk/friar cloak, wrapped at the waist with a rope. He is holding a bowl of fish in one hand and a chicken in the other. He has one sandal foot sticking out from his robe. This figurine, designed by Peggy Davies, was produced from 1954 to 1976.
