Au Sable Lighthouse is an 87 foot brick tower built on a rise with a light 150 feet above Lake Superior's surface. It was built in 1874 to help sailors navigate the 80 mile stretch between Grand Island Lighthouse and Whitefish Point. This magnet measures approximately 2x2 inches.
